I attended and had very good table talks with council members CM Parsi and Vivik. Safety was the key issue for both. Vivik said the City's need for additional police can can be funded by the State, despite fragile state budget. No levies will be needed. Ms. Parsi noted domestic violence was the most common crime in Redmond. I got her in touch with Monica Greathouse, COO Trauma at EvergreenHealth. Monica is on the Board of Lifewire, a nonprofit supporting the abused.
