EASTSIDE MUSLIM SAFETY FORUM ANNOUNCEMENT

DeC-52REDMOND, WA -  The Muslim Community and Neighborhood Association has partnered with Eastside police departments to host an Eastside Muslim Safety Forum on January 10, 2017 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  The educational event is being held at the Muslim Association of Puget Sound located at 17550 NE 67th Ct in Redmond. 
This event is open to the public and there will be childcare available.  Media are also invited to attend.  
The following police chiefs will attend:
Chief Kristi Wilson, Redmond Police
Chief Michelle Bennett, Sammamish Police
Chief Scott Behrbaum, Issaquah Police
Chief Cherie Harris, Kirkland Police
Chief Steven Mylett, Bellevue Police
Chief Ed Holmes, Mercer Island Police
Chiefs will cover a variety of topics, including Crime Prevention, Personal Safety and De-Escalation, Washington State Hate Crime law, Active Shooter Preparedness and King County Immigration policies.
