In my opinion, the high school should be doing more to protect students like Alex. I think it's a positive thing that he is going public about the failure of the school to do anything. The school could arrange a meeting between Alex and the other student, to try to sort things out. It would quickly become apparent at such a meeting, whether or not the other student was truly being a bully. His body language would give him away. He needs to be told to knock it off.
ReplyDeleteJactive - I think the school did just that - they all met up, including the police officer for the school and hashed it out.
