River Of Ice

A river of ice flows right past our house!

Coming home from the airport we had to park on 100th and crawl to our house on whatever friction we could find -- snowy planting beds, driveway slush, clinging on car handles, wipers, and each other.

  1. I'm glad you made it intact. We did not venture beyond the garage door here.

  2. Looks like our street, not far from yours. There was so much ice, our puppy couldn't keep his footing on the ice covered snow in our backyard. If only the sun had come out, that ice would have been beautiful.

  3. Holy wow! We're out of town in warmer weather at the moment (visiting grandkids for the holidays), but live in Issaquah. I've been wondering how everyone back home has been faring with that ice storm. Pictures really do speak a thousand words.

  4. So glad you were able to get home safely. Your photo shows just how icy things got here; for me, it’s the best photo of that day.
