  1. Is guy for real? He sounds like a college professor. Sounds like a spoof to me.

  3. King County alone spent $100,000,000 of our money on the homeless. Surly we already bought him new shoes.

Now if this person only spent their time looking for a job instead of ways to scam people, they would be in a better spot in the long term.

  4. He/she could go to the library to find a cpu and a printer. My question is his post looks to perfect....spaceing, capital lettering,... If he's so smart to know medical terminology he ought to be able to find a clinic or church to meet his needs. This could be a scam, I don't know.

  5. If they need socks and shoes, I'm happy to buy them socks and shoes. There are a lot of reasons why people are homeless and in need.

  6. I don't think it looks perfect? Every word is capitalized. Punctuation is obviously not key. Going to the library is easy, and he probably knows the medical terminology because he knows he has this condition and has dealt with it. I don't know many clinics that help financially with orthopedics or special shoes. Maybe this guy really just needs some help.

  7. The problem I have with this, is there's no face, name, or person behind it. There's literally nothing tying this problem to the person experiencing it. There's tons of programs out there already to help homeless. We need to either hold local representatives accountable that the excessive amount of money put into these programs actually help people. But this... this is just a random paypal address put up asking for money. Nothing behind it.

  8. According to a Facebook group peep this disbled, homeless person is using a Paypal account for 'donations.' It looks like a pretty good gig; in less than a day all the tear-outs are gone.

If you need any information on how to cope with homelessness, or help someone email the city at info@redmond.gov
