#BuyRedmond Campaign in Partnership with Experience Redmond
To help market the City of Redmond's businesses to the greater Redmond and Eastside community, OneRedmond and Experience Redmond are partnering on a #BuyRedmond campaign. Over the next few weeks, coordinated marketing efforts will be rolled out to assist those industries most affected by the recent State of Washington requirements.

Please contact us if you want your business to be highlighted in the campaign at info@oneredmond.org.
Featured Non-Profit: Bloodworks NW
Bloodworks NW is an independent, non-profit organization harnessing donor gifts to provide a safe, lifesaving blood supply to more than 90 Northwest hospitals.

The Pacific Northwest’s blood supply is at risk of collapse in coming days. The accelerating number of blood drive cancellations due to the closure of schools, businesses, and events over coronavirus concerns has put nearly 60% of the community’s blood supply in jeopardy. With exponentially decreasing opportunities for the public to donate, our community blood supply is in real danger. For the safety and care of current and future patients, Bloodworks is urging the community to step up to donate and spread word of the current need.

Featured Non-Profit: Together Center
Together Center is one of the first multi-tenant nonprofit centers in the nation, housing and working with over 20 essential human service agencies and other critical resources, including shelter, medical and dental care, counseling, child care, and support for the disabled, mental health services, and much more. It is in need of financial donations for support of increased sanitation needs.

Additional organizations within their operations
center also need assistance:

Friends of Youth Shelter and Case
Management Services needs volunteers to
help prep and serve dinner each night on our
campus.

All Hopelink services are still available.
They are requesting that people refrain
from walk-in food donations at this time.

Featured Non-Profit: Lake Washington Schools Foundation

The biggest fundraiser of the year for LWSF, the Spring Luncheon, has been cancelled. It has shifted it to an online fundraiser. It is by far the biggest fundraiser of the year and brings in the majority of the funds that they use for annual overhead operations.
In addition to this concern, they are already seeing negative impact on all of their programs. These consist with cancellations, postponements of events and increased costs of services.

Pantry Packs weekend food program for over 900 food insecure students has seen disruption in the food supply system, triggering us to look to different suppliers and higher food costs. If schools close, we also anticipate needing a larger volunteer pool to help distribute the food packs.

Balance in Mind program that supports Youth Mental Wellness has had to cancel a variety of events that promote education and awareness of mental health issues.
Find your Fit, a series of free workshops that advise students and parents on various aspects of the college application process have switched to webinar. Providing this online access has been an additional cost to the organization.
