Vehicle--Pedestrian Collision on 166th

Adult Woman Does Not Survive Injuries

Redmond, WA - Redmond Police has just received word that the pedestrian woman involved in a collision on December 1st passed away from her injuries on December 3rd, 2015 while at Harborview.     On December 1st at 7:32pm, Redmond Police and Fire responded to the report of a car versus pedestrian collision located at NE 79th St and 166th Ave NE in Redmond.

Preliminary investigation revealed an adult male was driving northbound on 166th Ave NE and struck the woman on the north side of NE 79th as she was walking eastbound across the intersection. There was one witness in a separate vehicle who provided information to police at the scene.    The case is still under investigation by the Redmond Police Traffic Division.  RPD Press Release
