While many of us are incredibly excited with the prospect of another Super Bowl Championship right around the corner, we can’t forget about the patients in our community that we work so hard to support! Currently, at the University of Washington Hospital we are supporting a 47 year old patient who underwent a heart transplant and has required 12 units of red blood cells, 12 units of plasma and 2 units of platelets. Thanks to donors like you, she has a fighting chance!
