Redmond Historical Society Holiday Invitation

Seasons greetings from the Redmond Historical Society...

Happy Holidays and Best Wishes for the New Year 2012!

Wouldn’t it be fabulous to be part of creating new extraordinary memories during our Redmond Centennial in 2012?

Please join us at the January 2012 monthly meeting and bring some friends! If everyone could bring a friend we could spread the word about our organization and upcoming events. It would be great to grow our membership to enjoy the Redmond Centennial Celebration with our community during the New Year 2012 and in the future. Please help us preserve Redmond Historical Society for generations to come, see you on Saturday, January 14, 2012.  Read More >>

Lorraine McConaghy Book-signing Events in Redmond and Kirkland

Also our January speaker, Lorraine McConaghy, will be at the Park Place Books in Kirkland on Thursday December 15 from 7PM to 9PM, and at McDonalds Books here in Redmond on Saturday December 17 from 3PM to 5PM, and of course she will be our speaker on Saturday January 14 here from 10:30 to noon signing copies of her new book, New Land North of the Columbia. All events are open to the public.

As we reflect on our community experiences in Redmond during the past year, let’s cherish the memories. We appreciate your valued participation in our organizations monthly meetings and events. During this past year, we have shared some intriguing presentations. Redmond Historical Society requests your member support to help make future presentations possible.

Redmond Historical needs your membership dues to:

· Preserve memories for generations to come, through our many valuable artifacts, items and stories.

· Create displays of our treasures to share with the community to better understand our past.

· Support our Centennial anniversary and other events to celebrate Redmond.

· Provide speakers to share experiences and information about life in our town and region at our monthly meetings and events.

Sincerely,
Redmond Historical Society Board of Directors
