THRILL THE WORLD 2012.Your chance to be a zombie! Thrill the World is a Thriller zombie dance held at Redmond Town Center to benefit SecondStory Repertory. It will be held on October 27 at Noon, with registration beginning at 10:00.

VIEWPOINT PARK WORK PARTY. Join the Green Redmond Partnership for a work party in Viewpoint Park from 9:00 am-12:00 pm on Saturday, October 27th. Volunteer to help restore the urban forest! As always, no experience is necessary, and we'll have all the gloves, tools, and other materials for you, as well as water and snacks. Please remember to bring your own water bottle to re-fill, and/or a mug for coffee. Enter the park from the north (not from 24th Street). Starting on West Lake Sammamish Parkway, turn into NE 27th Street, and make a right immediately to stay on NE 27th Street. Follow the street as it curves to the left, becomes 185th Avenue, and dead-ends at the park. Look for Green Redmond event signs. Please RSVP (the earlier the better!) so that we can plan a great event for you. DAY OF THE DEAD - EL DIA DE LOS MUERTOS. Join the Old Fire House Teen Center in a celebration of the Day of the Dead - El Dia de los Muertos with activities for everyone! On Thursday, November 1st from 4-7pm Cost: FREE!

EASTLAKE HS HOLIDAY BAZAAR. Don't miss Eastlake High School's 18th Annual Holiday Bazaar and Raffle! It will be held on November 3rd from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You will find uniquely hand crafted items for your home, and perfect gifts for those on your holiday lists. Be sure to buy a raffle ticket for your chance to win one of the many prizes donated by our vendors and stop by our bake sale & treat yourself to some wonderful home-made goodies while you shop. WATERSHED PRESERVE WORK PARTY. Volunteer with the Green Redmond Partnership to help restore the urban forest! The work party will be held on Novmber 3 from 9:00-Noon at the Redmond Watershed Preserve. Volunteer with us to keep forested parks in the city healthy! No experience necessary, tools and gloves provided. We'll have all the gloves, tools, and other materials for you, as well as water and snacks. Please remember to bring your own water bottle to re-fill, and/or a mug for coffee. Park Address: 21760 Novelty Hill Road. We will meet at the parking lot on the south side of the park off the Novelty Hill Road. Please RSVP (the earlier the better!) so that we can plan a great event for you. POULTRY PREDICTOR RACE.Register today for the City of Redmond's annual Poultry Predictor Race on Saturday, November 17 at 10am at Farrel-McWhirter Park (19545 NE Redmond Road). The five participants closest to their predicted finish time will receive a frozen turkey! There are no timing devices allowed on the course. The only clock will be at the start/finish line. Pre-registration is $30 and includes a gender specific long-sleeve technical fabric shirt.

REDMOND LIGHTS VOLUNTEERS NEEDED. Redmond will be celebratings its Centennial at Redmond Lights on December 1. The Parks Department needs volunteers: a great way to show your civic pride and help celebrate the holiday season! Register here.
