UPDATED: Some recent Crimes on Education Hill

EDUCATION HILL10000 block of 166 AVE NE

The Redmond Police School Resource Officer working at Redmond Junior High School was involved in an investigation that resulted in two students being arrested for possession of prescribed medication without a prescription. The students were booked and later released to their parents. The investigation will be continued at this time.

The students were booked and later released to their parents. The investigation will be continued at this time

Redmond Police stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction. The driver was found to be driving under the influence and was arrested.

Redmond Police responded to the report of a stolen vehicle at a local apartment complex. Unknown suspect(s) stole vehicle from the parking lot of an apartment complex.

Redmond Police responded to the report of a car prowl at a local hardware store. Unknown suspect(s) broke a window and stole a brief case, laptop and tools.

    John, you put a check on your door??? That's like leaving you wallet on the ground. to a thief, who makes a career out of driving through neighborhoods looking for easy marks.

    It is up to us citizens to take the first step in preventing crime, by locking our cars and houses and not creating opportunities for thief's. We are the first line of ... See Moredefense against it. It is impossible and improbable to expect the police to be everywhere at all times.

    You complain about the police writing speeding tickets, but the last time I checked, speeding is breaking the law too. I think our police do the best they can with the resources they are provided with.
