Missing Person Jamaal Stroschein LOCATED near Seattle by University of Washington Police

Tonight, missing person Jamaal Stroschein is being reunited with his family, after going missing on June 3, 2015. Earlier this evening, University of Washington Police responded to a reported sighting of Jamaal near the University of Washington Campus in Seattle, WA. A short time later, Jamaal was located by UW Police. Jamaal appeared uninjured and was checked by medical personnel.

Jamaal Stroschein was reported as missing and endangered on June 7, after he walked away from his Redmond, WA residence. Jamaal is a 32-year old autistic man who also has several medical conditions.

The Redmond Police Department would like to thank all of our partners in the community, in neighboring law enforcement agencies, and in the media for helping us search.

At this time the family has asked for privacy while they reunite with Jamaal. Additional information will be made available later this week, after Detectives conclude any necessary follow-up.
