Walk, Talk, and Explore Redmond's Old Town Historic Core

This free, interactive event will lead participants through both the new and historic portions of Redmond's Old Town and discuss community planning in the Historic Core.
Redmond City staff will provide updates on private development, the Cultural Corridor, and capital projects including the Cleveland Streetscape, Downtown Park, and the Redmond Central Connector, which won Feet First's Walkable Washington Innovation Award.
For the second half of the walk, join an urban diary exercise and share your observations and ideas for enhancing the Historic Core's character and vibrancy.
WHAT: City of Redmond staff and Feet First volunteers will lead a walk through Redmond’s Old Town, highlighting public and private projects, and offering participants the opportunity to write an urban diary based on their observations and ideas for enhancing the Historic Core. 
WHEN: Friday, June 6, 2014 from 5:00-7:30PM 
WHERE: Meet up at the intersection of Bear Creek Parkway and 161st Avenue in Redmond, WA at the public art installation Signals by John Fleming.
